The Relationships Centre Leicestershire (formerly Relate Leicestershire) is commissioned by the Intergrated Care Board (ICB) to provide an a low to moderate child, adolescent mental health service (CAHMs) called the Early Intervention Service (EIS).
This service provides emotional wellbeing and therapeutic support for children and young people between the age of 5-18 years old, and their parents/carers, living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland with low to moderate mental health needs.
This service offers a range of support, including counselling, psychological therapires CYP (previously IAPT CYP) and groupwork for children, young people and parents/carers dependent on need.
Children and Young People who access our service may be experiencing one or more of the below concerns:
To access this service, you will need to be assessed and referred by your GP or you can complete a self-referral through Triage and Navigation to ensure that EIS is the best service for you.
EIS is made up of two organisations: The Relationships Centre and Heads Up, and offers a range of support interventions for children, young people and parents/carers. The service aims to promote positive mental health, increase healthy coping strategies and encourage communication and support.
